Community Pharmacy Consultations Service (CPCS)

This service improves access for patients with minor illnesses by making it easier for patients to access quick and convenient consultations with the right healthcare professional.

Community pharmacy is the “first port of call” for minor illness and medicines advice.

Once a referral is made via the practice the patient will be asked to contact the pharmacy to arrange an appointment this could be done by either telephone consultation/video consultation or Face2face appointment.

If the patient hasn’t contacted the pharmacy within the 2hrs then the community pharmacy will make contact with the patient.
