Extended Access & Out of Hours Information
Non-urgent advice: Dalton Surgery offers extended access appointments with a GP or Nurse on a Tuesday evening 6.00pm – 8pm.
Patients can see a local GP, physiotherapist, phlebotomist for routine appointments on a week day, evenings and Saturdays.
Pre-bookable appointments are available between 6:00pm and 8:00pm on Tuesday and Wednesday.
GP, Physio and Phlebotomy appointments are available for any Greater Huddersfield patient in the Primary Care Centre hub at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and some physio appointments are available at other sites as well.
If you call the surgery number outside of normal opening hours a message will give you details about how to contact the out-of-hours service. The number you call is 111.
Out-of-hours services are always busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
